Manes are movie clips, they only play when exported as a .swf

I had the same idea; are flash rigs working in after effects?

Well, I haven't tried it yet... Because I also don't have Duik TOOLS which can be downloaded for After Effects. I have After Effects CS5.

Yeh that´s why I was wondering; I´ve been working with the Duik-module lately (and it´s really fun and easy to use) and was thinking about doing some mlp-based animations with it. Sadly flash-files just don´t work with AE, but I think I can simply find some none-rigged templates somewhere

uuugh sorry I give up for now. I´ve been spending some hours searching for some decent templates, but it seems as if everyone has switched to complete flash-rigs

animating with after effects and duik doesn´t seem to be that popular...yet

Meh. I guess most people use flash cause some maybe don't find after effects useful or they don't know about the program. XD
Wow, hours? Thanks for that though... I'll make my own puppets in Photoshop then import them in After Effects for now. :)
