Animated short 3: The Archerby =DILeak

Flash / Animations

Just a ~~really short~~ short I did to keep a steady upload rate on my account... However, it was mostly to test a few things in flash.

No that is not my OC.

It's a character in a (POSSIBLE) upcoming series of animations.
And to put this in perspective, she's blind, going only by hearing.

About 2 hours to make in flash and Illustrator

This is a wonderful animation! Short but sweet, as they say. The color, though it is dull, blends well, and it makes that little splatter of blood POP! It gives off a gloomy sort of feel, and the rain certainly helps. Honestly, I've never seen an archer pony before, so your originality there really works, but the gloomy scene, the rain... it's kind of cliche. But other than that, it's great in that factor. Your technique... i'm not one to be judging, but i think the rain could use some extra work, and the hoof holding the string should recoil after the arrow was shot. Again, this is better than i could ever do, but i think you could improve a bit. The impact really works, it gives off a really cool vibe, the bright colors pop against the dullness. I think this animation is very wonderful, and with a tiny bit of work, it'll turn our 20 percent cooler

It's okay for a short animation. Not going lie here. There is some animation mistake in the water. It jumps. Not much color there either... BUT this was used for an impact and a hint of technique with some vision to. The originality, eh... i haven't seen animations like this, but the lack of color is not very original. I do however like the pink eye and the blood. They stand out with vibrancy. The colors resonant from the grey, making them stand out. The sound is also pretty high quality. What really made this shine is the diliverance. Nice work. I hope to see more. The only thing not giving technique it's five stars is the rain.
